We help families across Dallas/Fort Worth sell a parent’s home.

Most families don’t plan for this part.

We didn’t either.

We will help you figure out what to do with Mom’s house.

We’re DFW Direct — a local, family-founded homebuyer that helps families across Dallas/Fort Worth sell a senior’s home quickly, as-is, and without regret.

Because it’s never just about the house.

It’s about grief you didn’t see coming, logistics you didn’t ask for, and family tension you can’t seem to fix.

Less stress. No pressure.

We built the company we wish we’d had when our own family was stuck.

The Holiday Visit That Changed Everything

It was supposed to be a quick visit.

Blakley’s aunt and uncle had flown in from Europe shortly after Christmas — just a few weeks with family before heading home.

But then COVID hit. Flights got canceled. Borders shut down across the globe. Suddenly, they were grounded here, with no idea how long they’d be staying.

That unexpected time revealed what no one had fully seen. Perry—Blakley’s grandfather—was struggling.

So they stayed. Took on caregiving. Adjusted to a new normal.

But over time, the weight of that role became harder to carry. The emotional and physical toll of caregiving compounded. And eventually, the window of flexibility began to close.

Fast forward almost two years, and by late 2021, the decision was no longer optional. Their employers in Europe were phasing out remote work. They had to go home.

But Perry couldn’t go with them.

And he couldn’t stay where he was.

We realized families don’t just need a buyer. They need someone who’s been there. Someone who gets the weight of this — and knows how to lift it.

The Breaking Point Became the Turning Point

The house had become a barrier. All the bedrooms were upstairs, and stairs were a serious danger.

The once-immaculate property that Perry—an architect by trade—had designed, built, and cherished, had become too much for him to manage.

Years of deferred maintenance had piled up. The home was tired. And so was Perry.

Meanwhile, the family was fraying under the pressure. Everyone had opinions. Some thought the house should be sold. Others wanted to find a way to keep it.

The clock was ticking, but no one could agree on a plan. And the most important question was still hanging above us all:

"How do we do right by Perry without tearing the family apart?"

That’s when DFW Direct was born.

Not as a business plan, but as a solution to a problem no one else was built to solve.

We started in that stuck moment — the same one our clients face every day.
We know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, divided, and unsure of the next step.
We knew that what families really needed wasn’t just a homebuyer—it was a partner.

That experience shaped DFW Direct — the only local homebuyer in Dallas/Fort Worth built to help families sell a parent’s home as-is, without repairs, pressure, or regret.

This company exists because one family didn’t have the help they needed.
Now, we get to be that help for someone else.

We didn’t start with a mission statement.
We started with what mattered most.

Some truths only come into focus when you’re in the middle of the mess — trying to do right by the people you love.

We believe no one should feel guilty for needing help.

Especially when they’ve spent years putting everyone else first.

We believe legacy matters more than listing price.

This isn’t just a house — it’s a lifetime of memories, and it deserves to be honored.

We believe a good decision shouldn’t divide a family.

When everyone’s trying to do right by Mom, no one should be made to feel wrong.

We believe you shouldn’t have to clean out a lifetime alone.

"Take what you want. Leave what you don't." We’ll handle what’s left.

These beliefs guide every conversation, every offer, and every family we help.

We’re not real estate moguls or a call center.
We’re just a small, local team here in Dallas/ Fort Worth — neighbors who've been through this ourselves and care enough to show up when it’s hard.
meet Corey
Lead Buyer and Chief Giver-of-Cell-Number
Corey’s the first person most families meet when they reach out — not to “get a quote,” but to figure out what to do next. He’s walked hundreds of homes across DFW, listening to family stories, answering tough questions, and helping people find clarity when the path feels anything but clear.
What puts families at ease is simple: Corey shows up human first, homebuyer second. He’s not here to sell. He’s here to help families weigh their options — at their pace, on their terms.
Even after closing, Corey stays connected. Whether it’s a check-in, a moving referral, or just someone to remind them they made the right call, Corey’s there when it counts.
meet Blakley
Family Compass and Emotional Air Traffic Control
Blakley is the heart behind everything DFW Direct does. She’s the voice in every meeting asking, “How can we make this feel simpler and lighter for the family?” She’s been through it herself — helping her own family navigate the weight of a home they weren’t ready to let go of.
That’s why Blakley helped create “Take What You Want, Leave What You Don’t” — so no family ever feels stuck cleaning out a lifetime of memories alone.
From the first call to the final check-in, Blakley makes sure families feel seen, cared for, and never rushed. Because sometimes what people need most isn’t a buyer — it’s a little more breathing room.
We're not here to impress. We're here to help.

We don’t lead with offers.
We lead with empathy.

Most families don’t remember the paperwork.
They remember how they were treated.

That’s why, at DFW Direct, how we show up matters more than what we do.
Because when a family is already carrying grief, guilt, and pressure —
the last thing they need is a pushy buyer or a corporate script.
